The Graveyard Book

This week I read the graveyard book by Neil Gaiman. I loved this book. This is a book that shows the intricacies and mythology of death in a way that is both interesting and child friendly. The characters were magical and interesting, and I believe that this book would make an amazing graphic novel. This book had a very clear goal and storyline, and, like Harry Potter, is friendly for all ages and remains interesting. This book is about a boy named Nobody Owens, whose family is killed when he was a baby. Nobody, (Bod for short) escapes to the old, abandoned graveyard up the hill, and becomes adopted by the family of ghosts. Bod goes through a series of adventures while evading and seeking revenge against the man Jack, who killed his family.
