a. There once was a dashing young sailor,
Who was the son of a tailor,
Who made all of the young maids
Draw out their blades,
And curse the name of Zachary Tailor.
b. There once a girl who was cold,
And found herself feeling quite old,
When she saw that her toes,
As ugly as Moe's
Were covered in green cracking mold.
Who owned a large blowgun,
And in the game of tag,
He had some swag,
And was dubbed the supreme shogun.
I like the first one. I don't know how you managed to make a rhyming poem sound semi-serious.
