The Martian

This week I read The Martian, by Andy Weir. This book is about a man named Mark Watney who goes on a mission to Mars and is accidentally left behind. There is a freak storm causing the mars mission Hermes 3 to leave the planet, and Mark Watney is left behind. Mark has no way of communicating with the outside world, and is forced to survive until he can find a method for rescue. This book was awesome. It was engrossing and had a very interesting plot it never got boring, unlike other books, and there are no aliens. sorry. The devices in this book seem very accurate and true to life, making this book seem extremely realistic. I would suggest this book to anyone in our class who is up for a little cursing and good ol' rollicking space fun.
