The Alanna the Lioness Quartet

This week, I read the Alanna the Lioness quartet by Tamora Pierce. This series is about a girl named Alanna who goes through the challenges of becoming a knight without letting anyone know that she is a girl. These books are fabulous. I had a really fun time reading them, even though they are not a very difficult read. They have lots of fun sword fighting scenes, in the whole series very interesting and well written. These books had very little mature content. In the first book, Alanna decides to switch places with her twin brother Tom, who wants to become a sorcerer. Alanna goes to school to become a knight, and to do so she must pretend to be a boy. I highly encourage those who have not read these books to read them, because they are a great read..
