Bray, Beauty Queens, and A Great and Terrible beauty. Both were very good, although I preferred Beauty Queens. Beauty queens is a satyrical hilarious book. It is about the horrible plane crash and survival story of the contestants of Miss Teen Dream Beauty Pageant. It goes into funny gory details, and is not necessarily just for girls.
A Great and terrible Beauty is about a girl named Gemma who moves from India to England because of her mother's death. It then follows her adventures at boarding school, and her other, more mysterious adventures.
It sounds like a really great book! Could you relate it to another book for reference?
